Built on 15 Years of Excellence
The Uhuru Academy Education Solutions (UAES) has spent 15 years delivering culturally grounded, results-driven education for Black youth across the nation. This summer, in partnership with the SC Juneteenth Freedom Fest — now in its 10th Anniversary year — we are launching three transformational initiatives designed to pour directly into the next generation.
Every initiative is free or scholarship-accessible to youth and families. Your sponsorship is what makes that possible. This is not charity — it is community investment. It is legacy. It is you choosing to be on the right side of history.

- Student scholarship: $600 covers one full Summer School enrollment for a youth in need

Every seed planted matters. Open to individuals, small businesses, families, and community members who want to be counted among those who showed up for the youth this summer.

- Certificate of Community Partnership from The Uhuru Academy
- In-kind: bottled water, snacks, supplies, equipment loans, or school supplies
- Volunteer hours valued and recognized alongside monetary gifts
- Group giving: churches and organizations can pool contributions to move up in tier
A $200 contribution goes directly into the pot — funding supplies, scholarship portions, ceremony materials, and programming youth will feel all summer long. This is a real seat at the table.

- Certificate of Community Partnership — suitable for display
- Contribution can be designated toward a specific initiative of your choice
- In-kind contributions welcome: supplies, printed materials, or programming items
- Volunteer hours welcome — your time is valued and recognized
A Freedom Friend gives what they can — and what they give matters. Whether it is $5, $25, $50, or $100, your contribution is counted, your name is honored, and your spirit is woven into everything we deliver this summer.
- Name included in the "Freedom Friends" collective recognition at all applicable events
- Included in the UA Summer Supporter group social media recognition series
- Digital Certificate of Community Support — emailed directly to you
- 100% of your gift goes directly into summer programming
- In-kind welcome: small items like bottled water, paper goods, or school supplies
- Volunteer hours welcome — your presence on the ground is a gift to the community
- Group giving: 4 Freedom Friends at $50 each = one Community Seed Planter
