Four powerful summer initiatives. One village coming together. We are investing in Black youth through education, culture, and celebration — and we are asking you to be part of it.
The Uhuru Academy Education Solutions (UAES) has spent 15 years delivering culturally grounded, results-driven education for Black youth across the nation. This summer, in partnership with the SC Juneteenth Freedom Fest — now in its 10th Anniversary year — we are launching three transformational initiatives designed to pour directly into the next generation.
Every initiative is free or scholarship-accessible to youth and families. Your sponsorship is what makes that possible. This is not charity — it is community investment. It is legacy. It is you choosing to be on the right side of history.
Your sponsorship supports one, two, three, or all four of these summer programs — each one a direct investment in Black youth excellence.
Beyond doing the right thing, this is a smart move for any business or organization that wants to build authentic relationships within the Black community. Here is what you gain.
Your name and logo in front of Black families, educators, community leaders, and youth who are actively engaged — not passive scrollers. These are conscious consumers who pay attention to who shows up for their community.
In a marketplace where authenticity matters more than advertising budgets, being a documented partner in Black youth empowerment builds the kind of trust money cannot buy.
Pre-event, day-of, and post-event shout-outs across Uhuru Academy and SCJFF platforms reaching thousands of followers across Facebook, Instagram, and beyond.
All monetary contributions come with proper documentation for your records. Consult your tax professional regarding deductibility.
The Uhuru Academy has a 15-year track record of delivering results. When your name is attached to this work, it reflects your commitment to excellence — and the community notices.
Your customers, employees, and community want to know what you stand for. Sponsoring Black youth empowerment is a story worth telling — in your newsletter, on your wall, and in your marketing.
The youth we serve today are the business owners, voters, educators, and leaders of tomorrow. The investment you make now will be remembered.
When communities struggle, the solution doesn't come from outside — it comes from within. Your sponsorship positions you as a builder, not a bystander. That matters now more than ever.
Five tiers. Every level accepts monetary, in-kind, and volunteer contributions. Every level is honored. Every level matters.
Our highest tier. Your investment makes a direct, measurable difference across all three summer initiatives. You are not just a sponsor — you are a founding pillar of this summer's impact.
Invest in a specific initiative or activity area and receive meaningful recognition for your targeted impact. Ideal for small businesses, faith communities, and civic organizations.
Every seed planted matters. Open to individuals, small businesses, families, and community members who want to be counted among those who showed up for the youth this summer.
A $200 contribution goes directly into the pot — funding supplies, scholarship portions, ceremony materials, and programming youth will feel all summer long. This is a real seat at the table.
A Freedom Friend gives what they can — and what they give matters. Whether it is $5, $25, $50, or $100, your contribution is counted, your name is honored, and your spirit is woven into everything we deliver this summer.
Here is exactly where every sponsorship dollar goes across our three summer initiatives.
| Initiative / Area | Total Budget | Sponsorship Goal |
|---|---|---|
| SCJFF Youth Empowerment Zone (DJ & STEM Tent Rental already sponsored) | $2,329.50 | $1,229.50 |
| UA Online Summer School (scholarships + promotion) | $3,600.00+ | $3,600.00 |
| UA Online Graduation & Promotion Ceremony | $3,500.00 | $3,500.00 |
| Arts & Culture — Cultural Expressions of Uhuru Drum & Dance | $1,500.00 | $1,500.00 |
| Contingency / Operational Reserve | $670.50 | $670.50 |
| Total Summer Sponsorship Goal | $10,000.00 |
The Uhuru Academy has spent 15 years proving that when you invest in Black youth the right way, they rise. This summer, we are asking you to stand with us — not as a bystander, but as a builder.
